Caroline H. Blanchard

Caroline H. Blanchard earned her Bachelors of Science from Nicholls State University and her Masters in Communicative Disorders from Louisiana State University-Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. In May 2010, she began practicing as a clinical fellow speech- language pathologist at The Center for Pediatric Therapy. In February 2011, she earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence and became certified by the American Speech- Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, she is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech- Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA). As a therapist at The Center for Pediatric Therapy, Caroline is also a speech- language therapy provider for Louisiana’s early intervention program, Early Steps.

Caroline has experience with working with patients with articulation difficulties, receptive and expressive language deficits, voice problems, fluency difficulties, oral motor difficulties, feeding difficulties, and augmentative- alternative communication (AAC) systems. She has completed trainings and in person courses related to identifying and treating tethered oral tissues (TOTs). She also has been trained in treating feeding difficulties using the (SOS) Sequential Sensory Oral Approach to feeding.
